Hello! I'm Rebecca, a writer, editor and teacher with a BA in French and Music and an MA in Creative Writing. I am an experienced editor and I've worked extensively on national magazines as a sub-editor.

I’m an avid reader with a passion for words and a keen eye for detail. I love literary fiction, French cinema, all things gothic, and an eclectic range of authors, including Shirley Jackson, M.R.James, Angela Carter, Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Daisy Johnson, Rosie Andrews, F Scott Fitzgerald, Hunter S. Thompson, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Hilary Mantel.

My proofreading and copyediting services are suitable for a range of projects, from fiction and non-fiction to novels, short stories and articles. I can also provide a reader report on your book and offer a translation service from French to English. I pride myself on being friendly, supportive, and able to polish your copy to a high standard.
